Liverpool were linked with Bournemouth's star forward Antoine Semenyo earlier in the year and fresh developments could open the transfer door. The 25-year-old, who had impressed last season with 11 goals, signed a new contract over the summer, which is believed to include a release clause.

Semenyo has already netted six times this season and provided three assists in just seven appearances, including two against Liverpool, sparking renewed speculation about his future. Several top clubs are reportedly interested in the Ghanaian striker, despite many of them strengthening over the summer

The same outlet reports that Bournemouth are believed to value their star player at around £75million - a sum which would represent a record sale for the club.
