Bournemouth midfielder Tyler Adams has spoken out about the loud boos he received from Leeds United supporters during last month’s Premier League fixture.

The former Whites player - who was part of the squad which got relegated from the Premier League, having missed the final stages of that season through injury - was taunted and heckled throughout the match for the manner of his exit in 2023.

“There are players who had the discussions and did the right things and did them in a timely manner,” former Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear would later say on the Square Ball podcast when discussing exits.

“Then there were players who were, perhaps, led by their agents to employ tactics which will mean they’re not on our Christmas card list.”

Adams’ name was jeered when read out over the PA system ahead of kick-off against Leeds, as was his every touch during the game.
