Tottenham Hotspur are looking to build on last season’s Europa League success and have started the new campaign very well under Thomas Frank. They beat Leeds United 2-1 at Elland Road last weekend to climb up to third in the table, just two points below league leaders Arsenal.

Thomas Frank has certainly improved the squad in many ways, bringing togetherness and fighting spirit within the group as they look to compete on all fronts this season. But, the Dane knows the team is far from the finished article and there are several holes that requires plugging. He is still trying to find a solution for the left-wing position after failing to land a winger during the summer transfer window.

None of Wilson Odobert, Brennan Johnson or Mathys Tel have done enough to cement their spot on the left flank, while Frank has tried summer signing Xavi Simons in that position in a few games but got barely anything in return.
