Liverpool transfer target Marc Guehi has insisted he is not concentrating on his future, despite ongoing speculation regarding his next move. Recent reports have linked the defender with switches to elite European sides including Barcelona and Real Madrid. He came close to securing a deadline day switch to Liverpool during the summer, but Crystal Palace abandoned the deal after being unable to locate a suitable replacement in time.

Guehi has remained a regular starter and retained the captain's armband for the Eagles. His contract at Selhurst Park expires at the conclusion of the campaign and he is not anticipated to pen fresh terms, meaning he will become available as a free agent whilst rumours about his next club persist. The Reds remain connected with a potential swoop, but reports indicate they may trail Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid in the pursuit.

It is understood that Palace are bracing themselves for the player's exit, either during the January transfer window or next summer.

Guehi is presently away with the England squad and could feature in both Thursday evening's friendly against Wales and next Tuesday's World Cup...
