Florian Wirtz hasn’t been in the best run of form since joining Liverpool.

Most fans and pundits expected the young German to instantly hit the ground running and become an even better player.

However, things haven’t quite panned out like that with the 22-year-old only having one goal contribution at the moment.

He’s been used on the left wing and in his favoured number 10 position, but no matter what Arne Slot tries, nothing seems to be working.

So, with this in mind, it’s hardly come as a surprise to see the German making some moves to try and improve his performances.

Despite his poor form, the former Bayer Leverkusen man has still been called up to Germany’s squad.

During the last international break, the midfielder managed to bag a free-kick, which many thought could end up being the turning point in his season.

Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case, and now, as per a report from BILD, it seems like Wirtz is trying everything to improve his lacklustre form.

The German outlet reports that Wirtz put in ‘extra shifts’ after their normal training sessions were finished.
