Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner remains in the frame for the Manchester United hot seat as pressure mounts on embattled boss Ruben Amorim. Amorim has managed just 18 victories from 49 matches during his tenure with the Red Devils.
The 3-1 loss to Brentford last weekend, which saw United slump to 14th in the Premier League table with merely two victories from their first six fixtures, has intensified rumours surrounding the Portuguese manager's Old Trafford future. Glasner's reputation has soared following Palace's remarkable FA Cup final triumph and their flawless start to the current campaign. The 51-year-old Austrian took the reins at Selhurst Park in February 2024, succeeding Roy Hodgson, and has transformed the Eagles' fortunes entirely. Amorim reportedly still enjoys support from the boardroom ahead of Saturday's crucial clash with Sunderland.
