On summer deadline day, Crystal Palace allowed Odsonne Édouard to join RC Lens on a permanent transfer.

Last season, Crystal Palace sent the 27-year-old on loan to Leicester City, and he failed to score or register an assist for the Foxes.

His struggles started at the end of 2023 as he scored once for Crystal Palace last year. That came in the Eagles’ 4-2 league defeat to Manchester City in April.
