It’s no secret that Liverpool have let their standards fall over the last couple of weeks.

They’ve been half the team that their fans know they can be, with several members of their first-team squad performing well below par.

Despite this, they are still on top of the Premier League table with 12 points to their name.

However, their performance against Galatasaray on Tuesday cannot be forgotten, with the Super Lig club managing to beat them 1-0.

Of course, these last couple of games could have just been a blip, but when players such as Alexander Isak haven’t shown their full potential yet, it’s understandable that some fans are becoming concerned.

Others, however, seem to be loving the fact that the Sweden international isn’t firing yet.

After the summer-long saga that went into Liverpool signing Isak, you’d have thought that he’d have contributed to the team a bit more than he’s managed to do so far.

Indeed, the Reds do have Hugo Ekitike as another striker option, so things aren’t looking too bad at the moment, but without the Frenchman, they’d be in some serious trouble.
