Tottenham Hotspur have appointed Roberto De Zerbi as their new permanent head coach. He has replaced Igor Tudor, who mutually parted ways with the club after a run of just one win from seven games in all competitions.

Roberto De Zerbi has pledged to stay at White Hart Lane regardless of what happens with Spurs at the end of the season. This should settle down some nerves of the fanbase, who are dying to see their team get the first league win of 2026.

Having now hired a permanent boss who is expected to play a massive role in rebuilding the squad in the summer, the N17 chiefs are stepping up their work for the summer transfer window. It looks like they are keen on reinforcing the wing department.

Spurs’ squad was weakened in the winter transfer window following the shock sale of Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace. The club were in hunt to replace Johnson in the squad, but did not manage to find the right fit. Disaster struck when Wilson Odobert sustained a season-ending ACL injury in February, further trimming their options out wide.
