Tottenham have battled with an injury crisis in the last two seasons, but they are now keen on securing the services of a centre-back with a near-perfect injury record.

Tottenham Hotspur have barely had any luck on the injury front in the last two seasons, with several first-team players sidelined for extended periods.

This campaign, ahead of their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, Spurs were without a staggering 13 first-team players for different reasons, ranging from injuries to suspensions and illness.

Undoubtedly, Tottenham’s inability to consistently field a full-strength squad has often impacted their performances, and it could well be a key reason behind their struggles in the Premier League over the past two seasons.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Tottenham are now understood to have set their sights on AS Roma centre-back Evan Ndicka.

Ndicka was linked with a move to Spurs in the 2025 winter window when the club’s defensive ranks were decimated under Ange Postecoglou, with Ben Davies, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Radu Dragusin all sidelined.

However, while those players have struggled with injuries in the past, Ndicka has remained injury-free this season, featuring in all 35 games for AS Roma.
