Lucas Bergvall has revealed the precautions he takes for his and his family’s safety after seeing one of his Tottenham teammates go through a horrible ordeal.

It has been another frustrating, injury-hit season for Destiny Udogie on the pitch, but that pales in comparison to what the left-back has gone through off it.

Back in September of last year, a 31-year-old agent allegedly pulled a gun on the Udogie and a family member on a busy London street.

If that were not enough, back in January, the Tottenham defender revealed that thieves had broken into his 150k Range Rover.

Bergvall has had to experience moving away from his family and living on his own in a new country for the first time over the past two seasons.

The Tottenham midfielder admits that he and his fellow professionals do not take security lightly and stay vigilant at all times.
