Mikey Moore staying at Rangers next season will likely be a priority for the 49ers after his performances this season, but Roberto De Zerbi may prevent the move.

The Italian manager has taken over at Tottenham on a long-term contract as he looks to turn around the North London club’s woes around. His vision for Spurs may include the addition of Moore within the squad.

For Rangers, they will be looking on closely, with the Lilywhites’ final league position having the chance to decide whether an extension comes by.

It was previously said if Tottenham were relegated, the Gers’ chances would be made slimmer.

However, that may not be the case anymore, with new manager De Zerbi having the chance to thwart Rangers’ transfer hopes.

De Zerbi’s arrival will worry those at Ibrox as the Italian has often trusted youth throughout his career.

In his last three jobs that have lasted more than one season, he has averaged 10 debuts handed out per season. While Moore would not be making his Tottenham debut, that stat simply highlights De Zerbi’s outlook.
