The Ibrox boss confirmed the injury issue in his press conference on Friday but refused to name the player who is set for a spell on the sidelines.

Rohl branded the bkiw as "a bit of a shame" as he referenced "one bigger issue" in his cryptic squad update ahead of the match against Dundee United on Saturday.

The Rangers boss did, though, give positive news on Andreas Skov Olsen, who is set to be involved in the league contest tomorrow afternoon.

Rohl said: "Yeah, final decision tomorrow. We have some small issues, one bigger issue, one player will be out for tomorrow. But I will not speak today who is it, but you will see it. It's a bit of a shame, in training, but it happens in football. 

"Skov was back, he trained the last two weeks in a row, he's good. 

"As for more general, I think we have to find a good balance between some freshness, I think if you play game-by-game in seven days, then normally after this performance against Aberdeen you will not change so much.
