There has been a lot of talk about Tottenham Hotspur’s appointment of Roberto De Zerbi on a long-term deal.

Spurs have made their third managerial appointment of the season in the form of Roberto De Zerbi, who has replaced Igor Tudor at the helm. The North London club’s chiefs have turned to the Italian tactician to save them from the drop with just seven games left to play this season.

Pundits like Tim Sherwood think that the Lilywhites would have done well by appointing a more pragmatic manager with a less expansive style of play, given the precarious situation the team finds itself in. But the decision has been made, and De Zerbi is now the man responsible for saving Tottenham from sinking.
