Leicester City have statistically the easiest run-in in the whole of the Championship as they prepare for a dramatic climax to the campaign.

City’s bid for survival resumes at home to Preston on Friday as the final month of fixtures kicks off. And there are few excuses for Gary Rowett’s side, who have the best set of games in the division, at least mathematically.

Taking each remaining opponent’s points-per-game tally, either at home or on the road, City’s seven matches come against sides with an average of 1.13 points per game.

City still have to travel to Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth and Blackburn, all of whom have home records in the bottom four of the division.
