Marc Albrighton says Leicester City's title-winning heroes would help the club in their fight against relegation - but says nobody has been in contact.

The Foxes are striving to climb out of the Championship relegation zone under new boss Gary Rowett and face a nerve-wracking end to the season as they aim to beat the drop.

After posting £71m in losses for the last financial year, rumours are already emerging that some talent could be moved on in the summer as a result.

It's been a hard season on and off the pitch for the Foxes and Albrighton says the Premier League winning team of 2016 is willing to help in any way they can.

But in an interview with the Daily Mail, he says nobody has yet picked up the phone.

"We all say that if we could have a job at any of our former clubs, we’d choose Leicester," Albrighton said.
