After a season like this one, it will be vital that the right moves are made in the summer, in order to maximise the output of what looks to be an extremely promising team going into the 26/27 campaign.
The defensive side of the team will need arguably the deepest inspection, with Queens Park Rangers currently sitting second to only Sheffield Wednesday in goals conceded this season with 61… over 1.5 per game.
Let’s dive into who I think Rangers should be keeping and letting go of this summer.
Joe Walsh – Keep: If you watched the beginning of the season including Coventry away, and someone told you Joe Walsh would be the undisputed number one by the end of the season you’d have called them ma. But here we are… and it appears he is.
Undoubtedly there is better out there, but in no world will a team sell all three goalkeepers. Walsh has shown enough flashes of potential this season, see Charlton away, to deserve to stay in the building at least as competition. It’s a low-risk move, he’s likely cheap and still very young. No brainer keep for me.
