Manchester United have no intention of removing chief executive Omar Berrada from his position, with any speculation about his future reportedly wide of the mark. The ex-Manchester City chief football operations officer faced intense supporter demonstrations ahead of the 3-2 triumph over Fulham. Significant numbers of supporters assembled to voice their opposition to the Glazer family, INEOS, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and senior figures including Berrada.

He took up the role in January 2024, yet has already overseen numerous major calls. The executive displayed his uncompromising approach through the dismissals of Erik ten Hag, Dan Ashworth - just months following his appointment - and Ruben Amorim at the beginning of the year. Whilst the financial implications of these choices have reached eight figures, Berrada has maintained his position.

Berrada wields supreme executive authority alongside INEOS chief Ratcliffe, whilst collaborating closely with Jason Wilcox - who primarily oversees recruitment and strategic planning - to execute footballing matters.

Given the reported comments from additional sources at Old Trafford, there appears minimal prospect of Berrada departing the club in the near future.
