Manchester United Women came from behind to beat London City Lionesses 2-1 in the Women’s Super League at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday afternoon.

Parris nearly restored London City’s lead before halftime when she ran onto a loose ball, only to fire a weak shot straight at Tullis-Joyce.

Chances were few and far between in the second half until United took the lead in the 79th minute as Turner headed Maya Le Tissier’s free-kick into the net.
