Manchester United Women came from behind to beat London City Lionesses 2-1 in the Women’s Super League at Leigh Sports Village on Sunday afternoon.

Off the back of their impressive 3-0 victory at Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, United started on the back foot and fell behind inside six minutes.

Parris nearly restored London City’s lead before halftime when she ran onto a loose ball, only to fire a weak shot straight at Tullis-Joyce.
