Tottenham Hotspur are now facing growing competition as the race for Pierre Kalulu intensifies ahead of the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in the Juventus centre-back is not new, as it was first reported before the winter window opened.

It was claimed back then that Spurs were plotting a move for Pierre Kalulu, with the defender versatile enough to fill in at centre-back, right-back and even as a wing-back.

However, once more during the winter transfer window, Tottenham were again linked with the former AC Milan man, but nothing came of it. Tottenham were far from the only club showing interest in Kalulu.

Other Premier League sides were reported to be keen on the centre-back, including Aston Villa and Manchester United.

A fresh report from journalist Mirko Di Natale, reporting on X, now states that Spurs have one more competitor in their race to sign Kalulu.

It is understood that Newcastle United have now entered the race for the centre-back, who is also capable of filling in at right-back.
