Tottenham academy youngster Yusuf Akhamrich has made a terrific start to his first loan spell away from Hotspur Way, with the youngster netting his third goal for his new side on Tuesday.

We saw several Tottenham academy players head out on loan in January, with many of them making their first moves away from Hotspur Way.

One of those getting his first taste of senior football is winger Yusuf Akhamrich, who joined League Two side Bristol Rovers in a temporary move.

Akhamrich netted twice in his first start in League Two against Newport County on Saturday, and he has now followed it up with another strike.

On the back of his heroics against Newport County, Akhamrich unsurprisingly kept his place in the starting eleven as the Rovers hosted Walsall on Tuesday night.

After a tight first-half, it was the 20-year-old who opened the scoring for the home side with a fine finish just past the hour mark.

Akhamrich was played through on goal and opened up his body nicely to plant a finish into the bottom corner, sending the Rovers on their way to a 2-0 win.
