Celtic have faced plenty of barriers and burdens this season. Still, there is now a wee light of hope. Since Martin O’Neill returned, there is at least a chance that the title race might still have a twist. O’Neill has worked something close to miracles in the dressing room and on the pitch. Since he crossed the Parkhead threshold once more, Celtic have not lost a single game. The fans love him. He would get his own stand if he pulls this off.

To be honest, Celtic have produced few brilliant performances since Nancy departed, but over and over again we’ve got results. Celtic dominated the match in midweek, created chances, pressed relentlessly, and fully deserved the 4–2 victory.

It is always tough on players coming off a weekend game. If we looked like we were holding a little back today that will be the reason why.

It really was a brilliant win if not a top class performance. Improvements are still needed, but as a fan, I love watching Celtic win and score and keep clean sheets, and especially when certain other sides drop points.

Even so, the clock is ticking.
