He’s enjoyed ups and downs at Tottenham, but Guglielmo Vicario is still a key figure and the undisputed number one goalkeeper at the club.

Tottenham replaced club icon Hugo Lloris with the relatively unknown Guglielmo Vicario back in the summer of 2023, and he’s made quite the impact, for better or worse, since arriving in North London.

It’s safe to say Vicario has his critics, but he’s also produced plenty of match-winning moments for the team. He’s one of the most experienced players in the squad, and a key figure behind the scenes, too.

Interestingly, it’s thought Spurs will sign a new goalkeeper in the summer of 2026, which could put Vicario’s spot at risk. But, until then, here’s all you need to know about him.
