Tottenham’s need for attacking reinforcements has become increasingly urgent this winter, and reports from Spain suggest the club have already put in an offer for a forward with five goals at the Africa Cup of Nations.

We are almost getting to the halfway point of the January transfer window, and Tottenham Hotspur are yet to make any signings.

Spanish outlet Fichajes now claims that Tottenham are making an effort to strengthen their attacking depth, reporting that the north London club have submitted a £52 million offer for Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz.
