Sun reporter Robert Grieve is the source of the Kyogo Furuhashi to Celtic story.

At 11.20 am today the Sun published the story that has Celtic fans split.

Since Kyogo was sold 12 months ago there has been a gaping hole in the Celtic forward line.

Made worse during the summer by the sales of Adam Idah and Nicolas Kuhn. Earlier this week Martin O’Neill revealed that a move to Wolfsborg broke down at a late stage.

Celtic fans have waited and waited for Kyogo to be replaced.

Now in the spirit of Jota and Kieran Tierney it seems that there is genuine interest in signing Kyogo from Birmingham City.

Grieve is the Chief Football Writer at the Scottish Sun.

Most fans have heard rumours or wishful thinking that Celtic could be back in for Kyogo.

Almost certainly at some point this morning Grieve got news from a trusted source that there was movement on the return of the Japanese striker.
