TECHNICAL director Johannes Spors is reportedly looking towards Germany in his search to appoint a permanent successor to Will Still at Saints.

Spors, who signed four players from German clubs this summer, is leading Southampton's search for a manager, as previously reported by the Daily Echo.

The German is said to be looking towards his homeland for preferred options while Tonda Eckert takes interim charge of a Saints side that sits 21st in the Championship.
