Rangers bosses remain "unsatisfied" after a meeting with the SFA failed to answer their concerns over "major decisions" in their Premier Sports Cup semi-final loss to Celtic.

Talks were prompted after Rangers had been aggrieved that Celtic defender Auston Trusty avoided a red card for a challenge on goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The incident came not long after Rangers' Thelo Aasgaard was sent off by referee Nick Walsh. Celtic defender Trusty kicked Jack Butland in the head as the goalkeeper lay on the turf towards the end of the first half, and it was decided a booking was sufficient punishment, with no video assistant referee (VAR) intervention.

Following the decision, Rangers bosses said it 'endangered the safety' of Butland, as they now raise 'legitimate concerns about the consistency of refereeing in Scottish football.'

Talks with SFA refs chief Willie Collum were prompted to demand an explanation on why Auston Trusty was not sent off at Hampden. Now, following a meeting this week bosses remain 'unsatisfied'.
