The club's main point of contention from the match at Hampden was the decision not to send off Auston Trusty for a tackle on Jack Butland.

Trusty made a very late challenge on a grounded Butland, who had the ball safely in both hands, and kicked him in the head.

Referee Nick Walsh deemed the offence worthy of only a yellow card, and the VAR team saw no reason to intervene.

This was much to the annoyance of Rangers players.

Rangers Review had earlier revealed that the club would be seeking discussions with the SFA to get clarity on this decision.

These discussions have now taken place, and Rangers have released a statement saying they "remain unsatisfied."
