Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have reportedly maintained their stance on Arne Slot, despite a challenging few weeks. The Reds have lost six of their last seven matches, and questions over Slot's future have begun to surface.

This is unfamiliar territory for the Dutchman, who stunned the Premier League by winning the title in his debut season last year. Liverpool will now look to bounce back in their home clash against Aston Villa, before hosting Real Madrid at Anfield in the Champions League on Tuesday.

They'll then travel to the Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City before the international break. And ahead of those crucial fixtures, the Daily Mail reports that FSG remain fully confident in Slot, with his agent Rafaela Pimenta already having 'held talks' over a potential contract extension.
