Arne Slot makes nine changes to his Liverpool team for tonight's visit of Aston Villa. Andy Robertson and Alexis Mac Allister are the only player to keep their places from Wednesday's 3-0 home loss to Crystal Palace.

Slot's side host Villa aiming to bounce back from a run of four successive Premier League losses and the head coach has left Florian Wirtz on the bench in favour of Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai and Mac Allister, who started the Carabao Cup defeat to the Eagles.

Gravenberch missed three games with an ankle injury picked up in the 2-1 home loss to Manchester United last month but returns to the team having trained a handful of times with his colleagues this week.
