The confirmed Newcastle team v Spurs has now been announced.
Eddie Howe’s side returning to Carabao Cup action.
Tonight’s match sees United looking to make it three wins in a row, all at St James’ Park, all in different competitions.
After having won 3-0 against Benfica in the Champions League eight days ago, Newcastle United then picked up three points in the Premier League on Saturday when winning 2-1 against Fulham.
A win today would make it five victories in the last six matches for Newcastle, in all competitions.
Since arriving at Newcastle United, Eddie Howe has a great record against Spurs.
As well as five wins in seven games against them in total with NUFC, the three of these seven games that were played at St James’ Park, saw United win all three and score 12 goals in them.
