For Spurs fans and their team, it was business as usual last night against Newcastle United at St James’ Park.

Under Eddie Howe, United had won their three SJP clashes against Spurs.

Now it reads played four and won four for Eddie Howe Newcastle United, having scored 14 goals in this quartet of victories over Tottenham.

Intriguing reading these comments from Spurs fans after the latest defeat, a wide range of opinions.

A lot of crying on from many Spurs fans about how nasty Joelinton is, how they are supposedly actually pleased to be out of the competition, how unfair the referee was in not allowing Spence more than ten minutes to tie his bootlaces.

Then you also have the more honest Spurs fans, willing to admit that they had seen the better team win and that Tottenham supporters need to accept that, as well as looking at the shortcomings of their own players.
