Youssef Chermiti will hope to start for Rangers against Hibernian in the William Hill Premiership on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old scored his first goal for the Gers as Danny Rohl’s team beat Kilmarnock in their previous league fixture at home.

Chermiti’s move to Ibrox raised a lot of eyebrows in the summer, with the Portugal Under-21 international costing the Light Blues £8million from Everton, but fans will now want to see him kickstart his career in G51.

Bojan Miovski has failed to live up to expectations at the Glaswegian outfit, and while the North Macedonia international hasn’t done much to warrant a start against Hibs on 29 October, the German manager may have no choice.

Chermiti’s reputation isn’t the best at the Gers because of his price tag, and the striker hasn’t done himself any favours by putting in consistently poor displays this season.
