Former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers will be present to support his old team in Sunday's colossal clash against Rangers, despite being 'not happy' about how his departure unfolded. This information comes from radio personalities Ally McCoist and Alan Brazil, who both claim to have had conversations with the ex-manager following his exit.

Scottish football is still in shock after Rodgers announced he was stepping down. The fallout with Dermot Desmond was acrimonious, judging by the executive's harsh statement, and according to talkSPORT duo McCoist and Brazil, Rodgers has taken a short holiday in Rio to relax.

However, this break won't last long as it's reported he will be at Hampden on Sunday for the first derby of Martin O'Neill's second tenure.

Brazil even suggested some insight into Rodgers' next career move, hinting at a lucrative switch to Saudi Arabia.
