Non-league Macclesfield have signed former Everton striker Oumar Niasse on a short-term deal.
The 33-year-old ended last season in League One with Morecambe, where he scored once in 10 games.
The former Senegal international has also had spells in English football with Hull City, Cardiff City, Huddersfield and Burton.
Seventh-tier Macclesfield, who are managed by Alex Bruce, are fourth in the Northern Premier League.
