Jadon Sancho should have left Villa Park with a smug smile on his face. Having seen his Aston Villa side beat former club Manchester City in a tight game in the Midlands.

But he departed the ground with a face like thunder instead. While Villa celebrated a serious high, all Sancho had managed to achieve was a new low.
