UEFA have updated their list of leading goalscorers in the 2025/26 Champions League.

This follows Tuesday night’s matches, which included Newcastle 3 Benfica 0 at St James’ Park.

A couple of NUFC players featuring high up in the Champions League goalscoring list.

UEFA also updating their list when it comes to players with most assists so far in the Champions League, another United player featuring high up in that one.

Early days of course but some great Newcastle United contributions so far.

5 Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid) 4 Anthony Gordon (Newcastle United) 4 Erling Haaland (Man City) 4 Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) 4 Marcus Rashford (Barcelona) 3 Harvey Barnes (Newcastle United) 3 Fermin Lopez (Barcelona) 3 Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal) 3 Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan)

As you can see, only Mbappe ahead of Anthony Gordon as things stand.

Harvey Barnes is an interesting one though as well.

The supersub coming off the bench in the three Champions League matches so far and in his 72 minutes on the pitch, Barnes has scored three goals, averaging one every 24 minutes!
