Cody Gakpo has quietly built up a good collection of goals since arriving at Liverpool in January 2023.

The Dutchman has not always been the first name on the teamsheet in the Reds attack under either Jurgen Klopp or Arne Slot.

However, Gakpo has been a relatively consistent scorer, hitting 43 goals in 138 appearances so far.

The 26-year-old has found the net more than 15 times in each of his two full seasons in a Liverpool shirt and provides a good goal threat from the left-hand side.

Gakpo has made a habit of scoring at Anfield over the past couple of seasons, and has also tended to pop up at important moments for Liverpool.

Looking back on some of his best goals for the Reds so far, Gakpo has now picked his favourite from an impressive bunch.

Gakpo’s goals for Liverpool have often tended to follow two most distinct formulas.

The Netherlands international is a master at cutting inside from the left onto his right foot and bending a shot into the far corner, and also regularly scores back-post tap-ins.
