Steven Gerrard will forever be remembered as a Liverpool legend.

The midfielder epitomised what it means to represent the Anfield outfit, and, to be honest, the only thing he could’ve done to make his stint even better was to win the Premier League.

Of course, that was never meant to be, but the fact that he chose to stick by his boyhood club no matter what is an inspiration to all of Liverpool’s potential academy graduates.

There were times when the Englishman had a more than solid team around him, but there were also others when things couldn’t have been going much worse.

However, there was one of his former teammates who he feels is rather underrated for his time at Anfield.

Throughout his career, Gerrard was the one constant among Liverpool’s team before making the move to LA Galaxy.

He’s also one of England’s best-ever centre-midfielders, with many fans, pundits, and journalists even thinking of him as the best ever.
