The electric Rio Ngumoha is already making a name for himself at Anfield at the age of just 17 – becoming the youngest goalscorer in Liverpool history with his late winner away to Newcastle.

Arne Slot also has Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike at his disposal – aged just 22 and 23 respectively.

There is another precocious talent who wants to join the aforementioned stars at Liverpool in Jacob Ambæk – who has now been recognised by the Guardian.

Now, Ambæk has received a mention in the Guardian’s prestigious Next Generation list – a yearly feature pinpointing the 60 greatest wonderkids across the planet.
