Seven players could be absent for the Liverpool vs Manchester United clash this Sunday as the Premier League swings back into action.

United manager Ruben Amorim has seen his squad's fitness issues ease recently, with Matheus Cunha, Diogo Dalot and Mason Mount all returning to the pitch.

Mount celebrated his first start since August by scoring a goal in the 2-0 win over Sunderland before the October international break. Following that victory, Amorim is targeting consecutive Premier League wins for the first time since he took charge.

A significant boost for the Red Devils is the potential of heading to Merseyside with a near fully fit squad. Lisandro Martinez is nearing a comeback after returning to training, although he's likely to be eased back in after damaging his ACL in February.

Noussair Mazraoui, who missed United's last match, could be available to face Liverpool.
