Italian media were left purring over the performance of Sandro Tonali on Saturday evening after the Newcastle United midfielder put in a Man-of-the-Match performance for Gli Azzurri against Estonia. Italy left Tallinn with all three points following a 3-1 win.

The visitors dominated proceedings with 24 shots at goal compared to just two for the hosts, who scored a consolation goal following a poor error from Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Moise Keane, Mateo Retegui and Francesco Pio Esposito provided the goals for Gennaro Gattuso's side, but it was the dominant performance of Tonali that set tongues wagging.
