Bruno Guimarães has spoken highly of Brazil’s performance in their 5-0 victory over South Korea. The Newcastle United midfielder described current phase under Carlo Ancelotti as one of joy and confidence. 

Speaking to Globo Esporte right after the friendly in Seoul, the midfielder underlined the team’s evolution. He also spoke about his satisfaction at being part of a cohesive and balanced side.

Guimarães, who has become one of Ancelotti’s most trusted players, once again controlled the rhythm of the game from midfield and delivered an assist for Chelsea youngster Estêvão. 

His performance combined intensity and precision, reinforcing his importance to both Newcastle and the national team.

“Except for the match against Bolivia, at altitude, we’ve been on a really good run. It’s been a pleasure to be here. It’s beautiful to see how we’re playing, very well. Today was another great performance. I don’t think one player stood out, it was the team. And a team that wants to win can’t depend on just one player. Everyone has to play well, and today was a great collective performance,” he told the outlet.
