Alexander Isak is paying for his lack of professionalism over the summer after making a slow start at Liverpool following his British record transfer move from Newcastle.

That is the view of former Reds midfielder Don Hutchison who believes Isak should have 'seen the bigger picture' before downing tools at Newcastle.

Isak effectively went on strike as he pursued a move to Liverpool in the summer and, as a result, missed out on weeks of pre-season training.

As a result, he has been playing catch-up fitness-wise at Anfield and is yet to score a goal in the Premier League, much to Hutchison's bemusement.
