Liverpool have been blessed with some fantastic managers over the years, and most have taken them to glory.

Arne Slot’s Premier League title win had followed the wonderful years under Jurgen Klopp, where the team flourished and became rejuvenated thanks to the charismatic leadership of the ‘Normal One’.

Before the German graced Anfield with his presence, there were some years without the amount of success fans were used to, but Rafa Benitez, during the 2000s, is still held in high regard.

The Spaniard led Liverpool to an incredible Champions League comeback win in 2005 and an FA Cup, among other runners-up places in competitions.

This team that Benitez managed included the likes of Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso, and Jamie Carragher, with the latter having very fond memories of playing under him.
