Jamie Carragher has explained how Arsenal looking over their shoulders at Liverpool later in the season could cost them the Premier League title. The Gunners headed into the October international break top of the standings after beating West Ham United before Liverpool lost to Chelsea.

A seventh clean sheet of the season was secured last weekend against West Ham, with only three goals conceded in the Premier League. Injuries have impacted Mikel Arteta's squad but signings made have seen depth options drastically increase and improve.

Martin Odegaard was the latest Arsenal player to pick up an injury with a knee issue resulting in him pulling out of the Norway squad.
