AFC Bournemouth hosted Fulham on Friday night in the Premier League.

The game was played out in wet and windy conditions, but the game was far from a damp squib.

The Cherries had started the game brightly, dominating possession, but only had a Tyler Adams shot to show for it after the opening 15 minutes.

It was the visitors who would find a breakthrough first, carving through the Cherries defence before slamming the ball home.

Fulham may well have thought it was going to be enough to take the three points, but AFC Bournemouth continued to push forward and their direct running had the Fulham defence on the back foot and worried.

Semenyo slaloomed his way down the wing, cutting in on the byline before squeezing it through the ‘keepers legs from a very accurate angle to find the equaliser.

Then Justin Kluivert scored a spectacular goal from distance to put AFC Bournemouth into the lead, before a stoppage time goal on the counter attack put the result beyond any doubt.
