Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado has reportedly told his agent to get him a transfer away from the club this summer after a lack of playing time.

The 22-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a regular in Hansi Flick’s side, starting only nine La Liga games and two Champions League matches this season.

Casado has been on Arsenal’s radar in recent times and it now looks like he’s eager to leave Barcelona, according to Cadena SER.

Barca director Deco is said to be aware of the situation, and this will likely have other clubs on alert as well.

Where next for Marc Casado?

Casado is a talented player who’s been unfortunate to be up against a lot of competition in this Barcelona side, so he’ll surely have some decent offers this summer.

Manchester United have also previously been mentioned as admirers of the Spain international in a report from Football Insider, and the Red Devils could do with strengthening in midfield for next season.

Arsenal might also do well to add some depth in that department, though it’s perhaps also hard to imagine Casado starting...
