Roberto De Zerbi is the new head coach tasked with getting a tune out of this Tottenham Hotspur squad and guiding them to safety.

The Italian returns to the Premier League after two years away, having previously guided Brighton and Hove Albion to the Europa League, playing some of the exciting, attacking football seen across the division. While the immediate goal is to secure survival, the chance is there to begin a fresh project under a young tactician full of energy, vibrancy and creative ideas.

The North London club’s current squad is packed with talented youngsters, which De Zerbi would love to work with. Enhancing that roster in the summer would be key, and the Lilywhites appear to be heading towards the direction of their youth-centric recruitment policy, given their recent links with a Serie A full-back.

According to a report from AS Roma Live (h/t Football365), Tottenham are among several clubs tracking AS Roma full-back Wesley Franca. Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle and Real Madrid are all interested in the 22-year-old. The Serie A club is keen to keep the youngster, but they would change their mind if they received an offer worth €60million.
