Former Tottenham Hotspur starlet, Troy Parrott, could be set for a return to the Premier League to play in white, but not in a Spurs shirt.

Reports indicate that Spurs are ready to fund a major squad rebuild in the summer after two back-to-back poor campaigns domestically.

It was reported ahead of the January window that Spurs were considering paying £30m to re-sign Troy Parrott, who they sold for just £6.7m to AZ Alkmaar two years ago.

The centre-forward has come of age in the Netherlands, having found the back of the net 28 times for AZ this term, to go along with his 10 assists.

According to CaughtOffside, Parrott’s impressive displays in the Eredivisie have caught the attention of Leeds, who are looking to improve their attack this summer.
